H＆M 2014/2015 Fall Winter Show

I. About the Clothing Brand: H＆M

　

It all started with a single womenswear store in Västerås, Sweden, in 1947. Today, the H&M group has six clearly defined fashion brands and more than 4,300 stores in 64 markets. Their expansion is long-term and they grow both online and with new stores, in existing as well as new markets. They want to make sustainable, good-quality fashion accessible to as many people as possible.

 H&M group joins together more than 148,000 colleagues from different backgrounds and nationalities working together for six fashion brands across the world. They are dedicated to always create the best offering for our customers and they all share a value-driven way of working, based on a fundamental respect for the individual. They believe in endless possibilities and they are always dedicated to create the best offering for their customers.

II. About the Designer ~Ann-Sofie Johansson~

Ann-Sofie Johansson started out at H&M working on the sales floor in 1987, became a design assistant in 1990, and by 2008 was head of design. As H&M roles out its Conscious Collection, the retailer’s first major push into eco-friendly fashion, Johansson answered questions from what it's like to manage a team of over 140 designers at the company's Stockholm headquarters, to her approach to sustainable fashion.

III. My Reaction

A. Reaction Point - Footwear

• Footwear is shoes.
• Knee high boots are the main choice.
• I think this boots are one of the important items in this fashion show.

B. Reaction Point - Accessory

• Accessory is somethig such as a bag, belt or jewellery that you wear.
• There is no accessory in this fashion show.
• I think they want to see only clothes.

C. Reaction Point - Fashion design

• Fashion design is using fabrics of different colors, textures, and weights to create garments that people wear.
• The most of clothes color are black or white. There are no warm color clothes.
• I think we often wear black, gray or white color clothes in winter.So, they used colors we often wear in winter when they design. Also, by decide colors, they wanted to create the fashion show with unify.

D. My General Opinion
I think clothes in this fashion show are not familiar for us, and maybe I can't these clothes. But this fashion show is very cool, and everyone want to model it. Although clothes in this fashion show is unique and we don't wear these clothes now, these are familiar for us over time, and it is easy to wear for us.
